Hey, I’m Heather, and I am a portrait, lifestyle, food and interiors photographer who lives on a farm in West Wales. My day to day life is spent either working from home, out photographing or enjoying one of my many loves, spending time with friends, running, cold water swimming, biking or climbing.
I studied Photography for Fashion and Advertising at the University of Wales, Newport, where I focused my photographic practice on sustainable living and visual storytelling. After graduating, I worked as Photographic Stores Co-Ordinator at the University. Quickly realising that working 9-5 inside was not the life for me, I bought a van and converted it into a house on wheels so I could go freelance and always have a roof over my head. Plan at the ready, I moved West with the intention to move about, photograph and volunteer. Instead, I found the love of my life and a place to call home, and that’s how living on the farm with Luke and his family came to be. Since then, I have undertaken photographic work for L’Officiel Magazine Germany, Manchester International Festival, Jwrnal Wales, Discover Delicious, The Goodlife Experience, Caws Teifi Cheese and the great creative and food scene we are so blessed with here in Wales. My work brings me so much joy, I love meeting new people and discovering small businesses to get behind and shout about.
I am available for commissions across Wales and the UK; if you think my work is a good fit for your project, please get in touch using the contact details below.
